Abstract
In this paper, we obtain exact solutions involving parameters of some nonlinear PDEs in mathematical physics; namely the one-dimensional modi ed complex Ginzburg- Landau equation by using the (G´/G) expansion method, homogeneous balance method, extended F-expansion method. By using homogeneous balance principle and the extended F-expansion, more periodic wave solutions expressed by jacobi elliptic functions for the 1D MCGL equation are derived. Homogeneous method is a powerful method, it can be used to construct a large families of exact solutions to di erent nonlinear di erential equations that does not involve independent variables.
