Abstract :
The aim of this problem is to study the peristaltic motion of a Newtonian, homogenous and incompressible viscous fluid in a two dimensional channel by using Adomian Decomposition Method. The expressions for stream function, velocity and vorticity are obtained without any approximation for the governing equations and also for the choice of the problem parameters values, but we used Adomian Decomposition Method as approximated one. The effects for arbitrary values of wave number (alpha), amplitude ratio (phi) and Reynolds number (R_e ) on flow characteristics are studied in detail.
