Visualising the performance of a large transaction processing computer system

Being able to monitor and assess the performance of a large transaction processing system is an essential activity during the commissioning and acceptance phases of the systemʹs development and then subsequently when the system enters operational service. This article describes some of the data capture and presentation techniques used on a major new road foiling system in the Southern Hemisphere.
