MEETING REPORT: ADVANCED CONTROL Advanced gasifier control

As part of ALSTOM Energy Technology Centreʹs research into the application of advanced control to gasifiers, the company issued a ʹbenchmark challengeʹ to the UK control community. This culminated in an informal seminar which provided an opportunity to compare and discuss the application of a wide range of techniques to this industrially relevant problem.
