SOME FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR MULTIVALUED (α, ψ)-RATIONAL TYPE CONTRACTIVE MAPPINGS WITH APPLICATIONS

In this paper, we provide sufficient conditions for the existence of fixed points for multivalued (α, ψ)-rational type contractive mappings in the setting of metric spaces. As applications, we derive a fixed point theorem for such class of contractions whenever the space is endowed with a graph. Several interesting corollaries are also deduced. The proved results generalize and extend various well-known results in the literature.
