Abstract
Zooplanktons are a basic link in transformation of energy from producers to consumers and play a key role as efficient filter feeders on phytoplankton and as food source for other invertebrates, fishes and their larvae. Zooplanktonic organisms are bioindicators of water quality and pollution because they are strongly influenced by environmental changes and respond quickly to alternations in water quality (Sharma et al., 2010; Deksne et al., 2011).
