Abstract :
An obturator hernia is a rare type of abdominal hernia that can cause acute intestinal obstruction. Meckel’s diverticulum, the most
common gastrointestinal tract malformation, is an uncommon cause of intestinal obstruction. The combination of obturator herniaandMeckel’sdiverticulumisextremelyrare. Wereportararecaseof obturatorherniawith Meckel’sdiverticulumina76-year-old
woman who presented at the emergency room with complaints of abdominal pain. The diagnosis was confirmed by a computed
tomography (CT) scan and exploratory laparotomy. Since obturator hernia is uncommon and rarely associated with Meckel’s diverticulum, we described the imaging features in this case study.
