Abstract :
Acantolimon saadii is described as a new species, the specimens of the new species have been collected from a locality in Fars province. The new species belongs to Acantholimon sect. Tragacanthina subsect. Stenostoma and is most
closely related to Acantholimon karelinii, a species confined to N. and NW. of Iran and adjacent areas in Caucasus
and Tuekey. The differences are in the length of calyx and bracteole characters. An identification key is prepared for
the species of subsection Stenostoma to include the new species. Acantholimon saadii extends the distribution of the subsection Stenostoma from Kashan area as the southernmost distribution in Isfahan province to Fars province.

گونه جديد Acantholimon saadiiكه نمونه هاي آن از استان فارس جمع آوري شده است، معرفي مي گردد. گونه جديد به بخش Acantholimon sect. Tragacanthina subsect. Stenostomaتعلق دارد و نزديكترين گونه به آن A. kareliniiاست. انتشار گونه اخير به شمال غرب و شمال ايران و همچنين نواحي نزديك به اين منطقه در قفقاز و شمال تركيه محدود مي گردد. اختلاف دو گونه در ويژگيهاي كاسه و برگك ها است. يك كليد شناسائي شامل گونه جديد براي زير بخش Stenostoma ارائه مي گردد. گونه جديد انتشار subsect. Stenostoma را از كاشان به عنوان جنوبي ترين محدوده انتشار زيربخش به استان فارس توسعه مي دهد.
