    In this paper we study the solvability of boundary value problems for pseudo- hyperbolic equations with a discontinuous coefficient at the highest time derivative and forward- backward time sgn xu_tt - u_xxt + c(x, t)u = f(x , t): We establish the existence and uniqueness theorems.
