Abstract :
Extracorporeal shockwaves therapy (ESWT) has been in use by urologists for lithotripsy for over three decades. Orthopedic surgeons became their first proselytes with its application in the management of delayed or nonunion of fractures where it is claimed to enhance wound healing.
