Abstract :
In this paper, we consider the estimation of R = P(Y X) where X and Y have two independent Weibull distributions with di¤erent scale para- meters and the same shape parameter. We used di¤erent methods for estimating R. Assuming that the common shape parameter is known, the maximum like-lihood, uniformly minimum variance unbiased and Bayes estimators for R are obtained based on type-II right censored sample. Monte Carlo simulations are performed to compare the different estimators.
