Abstract
The paper deals with a new and original method of car stabilization – the pneumatic stabilization – as a support to the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) method used at the present. Properties of the currently used stabilization systems with their advantages and disadvantages are briefly summarized. Furthermore, a new pneumatic stabilization system based on the Action and Reaction Law using highly compressed air is proposed. Basic calculations and computing of the obtained reaction forces are presented to prove the functionality of the proposed pneumatic system and the results are subsequently discussed and evaluated.
