Abstract :
ESTIMATING gene effects contributing to metric traits has been investigated in several studies. Most estimation methods focused on means of earlier filial (F/bar/ 1 and F/bar/ 2) and backcross populations (BC /bar/ 11 and BC/bar/ 12. Where the following set of equations is derived by algebraic solution of P/bar/ 1, P/bar/ 2, F/bar/ 3, F/bar/ 4, BC /bar/ 31 and BC /bar/ 32 means: [Mathematical formula].
