Abstract
This article is a reflective point on the relationship between social philosophy, arts and culture. It shows genealogical and epistemological relationship how the position of arts and culture in social daily life. The relationship is, thus, pulled to its root and history of arts and culture audiences that coming from recent economic and industrial impact, in the West to Indonesia. The relationships create certain community. The community, through institutions which created supports characteristic and action of philanthropy for improving arts and cultures. Finally, the article tries definitively to compare its logical frame and relate it to practical philanthropy practices.
