Abstract :
Dengue is a mosquito-borne virus; the DENV virus causes various diseases in humans ranging from the Dengue Fever (DF) to the life-threatening syndrome of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). This study analyzed the causes of dengue infection and the virus involved, the level of the dengue infection, and the international engagement on dengue infection, and identified alternative treatment methods of dengue. Secondary data were gathered from previous research. The findings revealed that dengue was caused by a virus for which there was no medicine or antibiotic to treat. For ordinary dengue, the treatment was simply about relieving the symptoms. Rest and fluid intake for adequate rehydration was vitally important.
