Abstract :
This paper presents a very simple and efficient algorithm for codebook search, which reduces a great deal of computation as compared to the full search This algorithm uses a lighter modified distortion with tree-Hadamard transform of codevectors. The algorithm uses tree structure of the highest level for all codevectors to speed up the searching process. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is more efficient than using only Hadamard transform projection pyramids
