Abstract :
During the Malay Sultanate era, diplomatic strategy variation was the outcome of the intellectual invention of the government leader. This strategy was designed not only towards the new associations, but also focused on strengthening the existing diplomatic affiliations. The ancient Malay script indicated that most of the diplomatic strategy variation attained positive reactions from other states, which agreed and prepared to foster, endure and resolve the ruined affiliations. Evidently, it shows that the strategy produced by the Malays was solid, attentive and excellent. Hence, the Malay local wisdom is valuable and it needs to be accentuated. Among the diplomatic strategy variables are a) simultaneous diplomatic relationship strategy, b) two in one strategy c) peace trick strategy, d) cooperative strategy to encounter enemies, and e) diplomatic relationship reconciliation strategy. These strategies will be discussed based on the Malay ancient script as the main conference materials
