Abstract :
In this paper, we present a new iterative method for solving non-linear equationsf(x) = 0, by using Potra and Pt´ak’s method [1]. It is shown that the order ofconvergence of this method is five or higher. Several numerical examples are givento illustrate the performance of the presented method.
