Abstract :
Cerastium pumilum Curtis (Caryophyllaceae) is reported as new interesting addition to the nora ofIran. This plantis considered as a psammophyte on the sand dunes of south Caspian coastal area in Guilan and Mazandaranprovinces. Taxonom ic remarks and distribut ion notes for this species are provided.
