Abstract :
One of the effects of industrialization, the consumption of chemicals is very dangerous and lethal, mainly heavy metals are also classified in this group of factors are considered. Air and water are main factors as direct transfer of heavy metal to the plants and finally to man are considered. Lead is a health hazard for all humans, and children as well as adults in almost every region of the globe are being exposed to unsafe levels of lead in the environment. In this study, the ability of TiN-nanotubes to remove of lead (Pb2+) and arsenic (As2+) ions from aqueous solutions is investigated. Thermodynamics parameters are calculated for ions removal at different temperature and pH by DFT and semi-empirical methods. The results shown, ions removal by nanotubes is spontaneous and favorable. The Pb2+ and As2+ are passing through nanotube and ions adsorbed in middle of nanotube length then TiN-nanotubs excreted them by increasing temperature. The ions are adsorbed more in low pH.
