A Prototyping and Evaluation of Hospital Dashboard through End-User Computing Satisfaction Model (EUCS)

In today s competitive environment, one of the new tools in the field of informationtechnology is business or organizational dashboards that are as a backup in the process ofstrategic management of organizations. The aim of this study is building a prototype of ahospital dashboard on the principles and guidelines of dashboards and evaluating it based onEnd User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS). The prototype of a simple dashboard was preparedfor evaluation, using experimental research through a questionnaire according to the end-usercomputing satisfaction model. The test results to compare the average of research variablesconsisted of satisfaction of the dashboard format, being up to date, ease of use, accuracy andcontent with average status showed a significant difference between the average of allvariables and their average value. Results concluded that among the variables, the formatwhich has had the highest satisfaction rate and accuracy has had the lowest levels ofsatisfaction among users. Also, the level of users’ satisfaction of all factors of the dashboardis equal.
