Abstract :
Usually medical journals are loaded with scholorlyscientefic research articles and these journals offer verylittle to an ordinary reader. We are starting a new sectionin KMJ where a very high quality research by Cochranenetwork will be presented as plain language summaryon topics of public interest. In this issue, we will look atsome important studies related to prevention of hypertension(high blood pressure), a silent killer, affecting amajor bulk of population worldwide. (Editor)
