Abstract :
The stability of vitamins in a liquid dosage form is still considered a challenge to pharmacists to obtain a stableformula. The objective of this study was to formulate multi-water soluble vitamin oral solutions, study thestability of this formulation at accelerated conditions 40 ± 2 oC / 75% ± 5% RH for two months and investigatethe effect of the pH and the percent of a maltitol solution on the stability of the vitamins. Results showed thatusing a 30% maltitol solution gave a pronounced improvement in the stability of vitamins compared with asorbitol solution, and the pH had a critical role on the stability of vitamins so the vitamins had an optimumstability at pH between 3.5 – 4
