Abstract :
Currents generated in a lake are studied numerically around an artificial flat An example is shown to illustrate how a current is generated by a discharge of the water from the lake to the sea through gates. The current in the entire region was first analyzed without any detailed structure taken into account. Then the data was introduced into an analysis in a smaller region containing the artificial flat.
