Abstract
The tensile breaking strength data of polypropylene-titanium dioxide composites were analyzed with the aim of understanding the discontinuities or weakness arising in their structures. The used TiO2 was surface modified both organically and inorganically by the adsorption of oleic acid as surface modifier and by using sodium silicate and sodium aluminate respectively. Various previously existing models have been used to analyze the tensile data, while others were tailored to suit the study.
