Abstract
Ocular problems have been reported to exist in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). The most common ocular complaint is red eye which may be associated with an increase in calciumphosphate product. Other ocular conditions such as macular edema, ischemic optic neuropathy, retinal detachment, retinal hemorrhage, and elevated intraocular pressure have also been reported.
