Preparation and Structure Studies of Thiazolidine and Bisthiazolidine Derivatives

In this work we propose the synthesis of thiazolidine andbisthiazolidine derivatives, and the structure of these compounds werestudied using elemental analysis, IR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMRspectroscopy. Tautomeric properties and conformations were investigatedby semi-empirical AM1, MNDO and PM3, and ab initiocalculations to illustrate the conformational analysis.
