Abstract :
The essential oils from different parts of Artemisia deserti Kracsh were determined by a combination ofGas Chromatography (GC) and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS) methods. Among42 identified compounds, camphor(15.9%,22.5% and 18.0% in stem, leaf and flower respectively) was the main components while 1,8-cineole (12.6%and 10.4%) and trans-thujone (11.8% and 16.4%) were found as the othermajorconstituents in leafand flower, respectively.
