Abstract :
This study aimed to observe the effect of the project-based learning through writing brochure to master the skill of writing among average students in primary school. Descriptive study was carried out based on a quantitative approach. The method used was quasi experimental design pre and post-test of one group. The study involved a total of 39 samples among Year 5 students from one of the schools in Brunei Zone, IIA. Student achievement tests and questionnaires of the students interest and perception in project-based learning process were used for data collection purposes. Data were analyzed using the SPSS version 20. Paired sample t-test was used to assess the impact of project-based learning through writing brochure. The results showed a significant difference between the mean achievement of project-based learning through writing brochure in the post test at, t (39) = -12.75, p 0.5 Asa conclusion, project-based learning through writing brochure can help to enhance students writing skills and it is suitable to be conducted in the primary schools.
