Abstract :
Survey model was used in this study, which was done to determine the opinions of Social Studies teachers to what extent the Social Studies course helps the students acquire the skills in the curriculum. The research was conducted 50 primary school teacher’s who worked at the primary school in Kırsehir. In the research, “A Questionaire About the Influence of Social Studies Course on Skill in the curriculum” which consist of 2 parts and 68 questions, was used as a data collection instrument. In the analysis phase of the data, teachers’ opinions werepresented in numbers, percentages and aritmetic means. Data with the statistical transactionwas resolved purposes of the investigation. Comments made over the arithmetic average tobe express the frequency and percentage of skills, just a lot of points into the range, the entirearticle as there is no limit in terms frequencies and percentages were expressed of the all datas.As a result, Social studies course, according to views of social studies teachers, win partlylevel skills of the general in the program as specified to, as for the statements of some theskills level earn too. Critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, entrepreneurship withchange and continuity to perceive ability, significant differences were found in service trainingof teachers in opinion between the p .05 level. According to the arithmetic average of thesedifferences seems in favor of in-service teacher education.
