  • Abstract
    It is necessary that a good communication and relationship be established between teachers and families so as to reach the desired level at every stage of education, in particular at preschool education. The current study was carried out to test the validity and reliability of “The Scale of Communication and Cooperation between Family and Teacher”, which was developed in order to evaluate the communication and cooperation between the teachers working at the kindergartens within official primary schools of the Ministry of Education and families in terms of the perspective of families. The sampling of the study comprised of 1200 families whose children attended to a kindergarten within official primary schools of the Ministry of Education by paying special attention to incidence, sensibility and size of group. “Factor Analysis” and “Cronbach Alpha” coefficient were calculated as validity-reliability tests. The reliability coefficient of “The Scale of Communication and Cooperation between Family and Teacher”, which was made up of 62 items, was taken as 0.982.
