  • Abstract
    Since elementary mathematics, science and primary teachers interconnected to mathematics as required by their fields, it should be necessary to control their mathematics attitudes and earning levels, then eliminate their deficiencies and support them. The aim of this study is to determine mathematics, science and primary teacher candidates’ attitudes of mathematics and to bring up the relationship between their main fields and the levels of concept learning. The sample of this study conducting with case study research method consists of total 180 teacher candidates in the related main fields. The data were gained by mathematics attitude survey and an 8 item test about basic mathematics concepts. At the end of study, it was found that there was a meaningful relation between teacher candidates’ mathematics attitude and their main fields. Besides, when evaluating teacher candidates as to understanding and interpreting the basicmathematical concepts, based on their main fields there has been some differences in theirresponses to the test.
