In the study, document review method was used. The study sample included the fourth-grade students of Turkish Language teaching department under the Faculty of Education of Karadeniz Technical University. The sample group was given three texts from different genres and asked to prepare questions related to them. 34,6% of the questions were prepared at the remembering level, 45,9% at the understanding level, 3,2% at the applying level, 1,3% at the analysing level, 10,4% at the evaluating level and 4,5% at the creating level. It was determined that teacher candidates prepared more questions at the remembering and understanding levels.
