INVESTIGATION of WOMEN’S INTEREST in SPORT

The aim of this study was to evaluate and to compare the results of the sports comprehension of women engaging in sports and women who don’t engage in sports in centre of Denizli provience.In the study, the questionnaire consisting of 30 questions was applied to evaluate the sports comprehension of women. Tables and graphics evaluating the answers given to the survey questions are generated and investigated by using SPSS statistical program package.As a result of the study it was determined that women engaging in sports are less worried and more determined than women who don’t engage in sports. Interest of women in sports must be increased for making sport widely applied in society and by majority of people, and studies must be made to enable them to join in sports actively.
