  • Abstract
    The purpose of this study is to examine the information technology department’s students’levels of vocational expectation in probation workplaces. The design of the study was basedupon the general survey method. This study, has been studied on students in web programming,database programming and network operating subsections of Anatolian Technical andtechnical high schools information technology field from Bursa and Muğla and these studentsinclude fifty four 11th grade students and nineteen 10th grade students who have not chosentheir subsections yet. In the data gathering phase, vocational expectation surveys were usedbefore and after summer probation. Wilcoxon signed rank test was used for measurementsassociated with the data analysis. Results showed that information technology departmentstudents’ subsections vocational expectations have not been met in probation workplaces.
