  • Abstract
    State of the Problem: This study aims to investigate the correlation between pre-serviceteachers’ family types, socio-economic states of families, family attitudes who attend various Method: For this aim, “Personal Information Form” and “Problem Solving Inventory”were applied to 233 pre-service teachers. Data were analyzed through descriptive analysis, andSPSS 11.5 program was used in this study. The students are asked questions about their sex,family states (education and profession status of parents), family attitudes and behaviours andeconomic status and as a result of obtained data, the correlation between structures, attitudesand behaviours and socio-economic states of families and their problem solving skills wererevealed.Results: As a result of the study, there is no significant difference found between the problemsolving skills of pre-service teachers and their socio-economic states, family types, and familyattitudes.Conclusion and Further Research: Pre-service teachers’ families and their soco-economicstates do not affect their future plans such as getting education, and having a profession.
