Abstract :
The main purpose of this research is investigating professional expectations of the Informatics Technologies Teacher candidates who attend to Cukurova University, Departmentof Computer Education and Instructional Technology in terms of different variables. In orderto accomplish this purpose, “the professional expectations form” which wss developed byErdogan (2008) was applied to 171 students who attend to the department and who wereselected via convenient sampling technique. In the analysis of data, Chi-square (χ2) test wasconducted. As a results of analysis, it was revealed that the professional expectations of thestudents vary according to their gender, class level and the former academic achievement.
