Abstract
The study investigated the attitudes of teachers about interactive whiteboards with LCDpanel installed in classrooms within FATIH project. In the study, descriptive survey model wasused and the study was undertaken during the fall term of 2012-2013 academic year. The studywas conducted at six high schools in which installation of interactive whiteboards with LCDpanel in classrooms was completed and the teachers of which received the training in order touse these whiteboards. In this study, one hundred twenty one teachers were participated. Thedata was gathered using Attitude Scale for Interactive Whiteboard. As results, it was found thatteachers generally demonstrated a positive attitude for the use of interactive whiteboards withLCD panel. It was found out that there was no significant difference between teachers’ genders,ages, service time and courses in the fields with their attitudes. It was also found that teacherswho used interactive whiteboards with LCD panel more showed higher positive attitudes.
