Abstract
The aim of this study is to establish the relations between experiment designing, formulating hypotheses, interpreting data and determining variables. To achieve this, a test is developed to measure these scientific processing skills. Relational method is used in the study as the research method. 227 First grade prospective primary school teachers, who were selected as the samples, were applied the Scientific Process Skill Test (SPST). Item analysis, internal consistency analysis, factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were conducted in the analysis process. The results showed that the test is formed of four sub-scales and they have high levels of reliability coefficients. Various models were designed, formed of the relations between the obtained factors and each structure was tested by using a structural equality model. In this model, it is seen that the relations between the scientific process skills are all positive and significant.
