Abstract
This study is related to the analysis of Karagoz, one of the longest lasting magazines starting from his contribution it made to cartoon and its use as material for teaching the revolution history. The use of the humour journals which contain first degree visual evidence and written documents for revolution history will decrease the routines of the course and encourage the students to work a social scientist and the improve their upper level thinking virtues. The humour journal Karagoz published between 1908 and 1955 and shared the political, social and cultural events of the time with the public with its unique style. Therefore the presentation of the time with the view point of Karagoz is important for writing and teaching of history.
