  • Abstract
    The aim of this study is to determine what the opinions of Social Studies teacher candidatesare about the use of historical sources in T.R. History of Revolution and Kemalism course. Datawere collected using a scale developed by researchers; the obtained findings were analyzedusing quantitative and qualitative methods. It was observed that the participants were willingto use historical sources, but not at the desired level exactly how to use these resources. Itwas seen that teacher candidates preferred the primary sources in the course, gave priorityto sources such as archival documents, library films and memoirs from these sources mostly.
