Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to determine the opinions of teachers concerning the use of educational technologies in teaching initial reading and writing process. The study consists of 212 teachers working in primary schools in Ankara. In the current research “Educational Technologies Questionnaire” which was originally developed for Ohio University Public Learning Project adapted by İşman for Turkish Educational System was adapted fort he second time. According to the research findings of the study the responses of the teacher related to their use of technology was at the level of “sometimes”. Also teachers responses to use of educational technology didn’t change interms of gender but it changed in terms of professional experience, educational background and in- service training.
