  • Abstract
    The aim of this study is to investigate the high school teachers’ perceptions on diversity management in terms of some variables. The study is in survey model. The population consists of 1088 teachers working in Anatolian High School in the city center of Diyarbakır and 464 teachers who were choosen with stratified sampling method consists of the sample of the study. Data of the study is collected with “Diversity Management” scale. It is found that high school teachers’ perceptions on diversity management is good. Also teachers’ perceptions on approaches to diversity management and managerial practices do not significantly differ in terms of gender, current school service time, syndicate, marital status, geographical location, age and settlement. However teachers’ perceptions on managerial practices differ significantly in terms of the number of the teachers at school. Based on the findigs of the study some suggestions are proposed. Among them; considering the teachers’ diversity while employing them, creating a free environment to reflect ideas on diversity.
