Abstract
Being the most frequently used websites of the present time, social networking sites (SNS) are inseparably connected to our lives. However, some behaviours performed by the SNS users may cause online security gaps and become a threat to other users. Therefore, SNS users’ frequency of performing online behaviours is important. This study aims to identify the Preschool Teacher candidates’ frequency of performing certain behaviours while using SNSs. A 38 item questionnaire was developed and used for data collection. Results show that students are aware of the security risks of the SNSs and they are conscious SNS users who do not perform behaviours that can potentially be risky.
