Abstract
The present study aimed to investigate the preschool teachers’ views and practices on learning centers. The study group was determined by criterion sampling, a purposive sampling method. The research involved in the preschool teachersserving at the independent nursery schools in the city center of Kırşehir province and employed both the interview and observation techniques of the qualitative research method. The data collection tools developed by the researchers for the purposes of the study included the semi-structured “Teacher Interview Form” to find the views of the teachers on learning centers and the “Learning Centers Observation Form” to find the practice at the learning centers. Descriptive analysis was used for the assessment of the data. It was concluded as a result of the study that generally the teachers needed support as regards the program and its application.
