Abstract
Paneth cells that occur regularly in the bottom of cyrpts of Lieberkühn in the small intestine are pyramidal-shape cells that contain largely eosinophilic granules. These cells are rarely present in extragastrointestinal sites. A 57 years old patient was operated for testicular mass. Pathologic diagnosis of the testicular mass was seminom. In the non-tumoral epididymis tissue widely distributed paneth cell like change was seen during microscopic examination. In this report I have discussed the mechanism of paneth cell like changes, structure of secretory granules and whether these changes are true metaplasia .
