Abstract
Only linguistic material that reach to present from the Volga Bulgarian Turkish language is limited by the text on the tombstones around the Volga area. The language of these inscriptions is very close to Chuvash Turkish. The word “balùur” was used on the Volga Bulgarian inscriptions with meaning of “amen”. Today, in Chuvash Turkish “pultăr/ apla pultăr” words use meaning of “amen”. In this article, “balùur” word will be examined and it will be exemplified from Modern Chuvash Turkish.
