Feminist Approaches in Graphic Design; Sheila Levrant De Bretteville and the Woman s Building

In this article is tried to explan Sheila Levrant de Breteville who participated in feminist art movement in 1970s and one of the founders of Woman s Building, reflections to graphic design, creative and professional lifes of women, art circles and society of artistic activities in this here associated with appearance of second-wave women s movement and regain to strenght of feminism. Moreover, In this study is mentioned in detail being the first place Sheila Levrant de Bretteville, one of the pioneer female artists of feminist art that is effective in 1970s, feminist art and design activities which is production area throughout her professional life, Woman s Building, Women Graphic Center, how they arise and their development processes.
