Abstract
The role of radiotherapy in immunological and cytological function of patients with cafcinoma of breast and uterus were investi gared: Using rosette forming T lymphocytes, white blood cells and lymphocytes count and distribution of micronuclei as parameters . After irrad iation . the number of peripheral blood lymphocytes and white blood cells wa~ reduced . The percentage of roselle Jorming T lymphocytes were alsu decreased while NBT percentage of poly morpho nuclcocytes were increased with radiotherapy . Peripheral blood lymphocytes appears in different forms and shows formation of micronudei . The f1Ull1.ber ()( micronuclci W8$ significantly increase:~ with irradiation ·csJ}ec i ally in binuclear lym,phocytes compared with that before irradi~tion .
