Abstract
The paper is devoted to the problem of determining small sound speed fluctuations
in medical ultrasound tomography. The primary aim of the paper is to determine the location
of small inclusions, sound speeds in them and also to determine unknown boundary between
the fatty and glandular tissues. The sound speeds in these tissues are known. In this paper a
numerical method for solving this problem is proposed. The approach is based on visualization
of unknown inner boundary and inclusions and determination of the sound speeds in inclusions
using wave kinematics. The work is the continuation of the work [1], where the problem of
visualization by the method of Reverse Time Migration was already solved. In addition, the
problem of visualization of inclusions in the presence of strong inclusion is solved in this work.
Note that kinematic approach does not work in this case.
